The G9190’s blade is operated via the unit’s Moveable Blade Control System for ultimate grading precision.
Chinese original equipment manufacturer (OEM) SDLG reports that its G9190 is now very popular in a variety of Asian, African and Middle Eastern markets.
“We are seeing growing demand from road-building sectors in many of our key markets and our customers looking for reliable support for their machines to help them meet ever bigger challenges,” says Yu Mengsheng, president of SDLG. “By working with an established dealer network that includes experienced service technicians, we can offer dedicated maintenance to complement our fast parts availability.”
It is also said to be enjoying high levels of demand in India at present, where the country’s government is pushing through an ambitious road building initiative that will see 30km of new roads built a day over the course of 2016. The OEM says wider availability of the unit is planned in future for these markets.
The G9190 features a 3 658mm moldboard as standard for wider grade coverage. Its SD70B Stage III engine is said to be perfectly matched to the grader’s electro-hydraulic transmission control system, allowing the operator to select the correct gear, depending on load, for optimum efficiency and power.
With optimised weight distribution, the machine has an 82kN tractive force, while its blade is operated via the unit’s Moveable Blade Control System (MBCS) for ultimate grading precision. The blade can rotate through a full 360° and incline up to a 90° gradient. It’s down force of 8 386kg is said to maximise the cut depth without front-end drift.
