CASE digs Algerian prospects with full line of construction equipment at SITP 2016

CASE is positioning itself for the expected increase in demand for construction equipment in Algeria due to the government’s planned investments in infrastructure development.

CASE Construction Equipment and its official importer in Algeria, ARC Trucks recently showcased the OEM’s full line of light and heavy equipment including crawler excavators, backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders and compact track loaders, at the SITP 2016, the 14th edition of the International Trade Fair for Public Works and Construction Machinery.

With this full product line, CASE is positioning itself for the expected increase in demand for construction equipment due to the government’s planned investments in residential building, airport and harbour construction and refurbishment projects, the reconstruction of 14 000 km of roads and the modernisation of the TransSahara highway that links Algiers to Lagos.

In addition, CASE and ARC Trucks have the resources and organisation to provide efficient and professional support to customers on their jobsites across the country. ARC Trucks, headquartered in the city of Blida, located less than 50 km southwest of Algiers, provides all round support to its customers across the country with its three sales outlets and workshop.

“The SITP show gives us an excellent opportunity to show construction businesses everything we can do for them. At a time like this, where so many large scale construction projects are expected to kick off, they will need to maintain high levels of productivity to keep up with the demand. With the reliably productive CASE equipment and our efficient after sales support, we can help them make the most of the opportunities and grow their business,” says Karim Aissaoui, general manager of ARC Trucks.

Among the equipment on display was the CX350B crawler excavator, said to be designed and built for durability and reliability. The high breakout force, increased swing speeds and swing torque result in fast cycle times and high productivity.

The 570T backhoe loader was also on display. It has been developed specifically for customers in the emerging markets who are looking for productivity, versatility and fast return on their investment. Like the 580T, it builds on CASE’s long history with this product line.

The SV300 skid steer loader and a TR320 CASE were also showcased at SITP. CASE skid steer loaders are engineered to deliver more torque and power while offering the ultimate in cab comfort.

Equipment Africa says: Algeria has very bright prospects for growth for OEMs and their dealers, especially considering the magnitude of construction projects in the pipeline. CASE, with its reliable product that represents a very good balance between reliability and cost effective pricing, is definitely positioning itself for greater things ahead. Regional events of this nature help reach the targeted market base.
