Using lower hydraulic power means reduced runs per minute on the carrier, resulting in fuel savings of up to 20%.

Indeco, an Italian hydraulic breaker specialist, has upgraded the hydraulic system on its HP series to become Fuel Saving (FS). Compared with the competition’s models of equivalent weight and performance, this feature is said to allow Indeco breakers to use less oil per minute and lower operating pressure. Using lower hydraulic power also means reduced runs per minute on the carrier, resulting in fuel savings of up to 20%, claims Indeco.

“This advantage is even more clear-cut when comparing the Indeco breaker with gas- or gas/oil-powered products of similar sizes manufactured by our competitors,” the company says. All of the new breakers in the Indeco HP range now come with the FS badge.

Equipment Africa says: Obviously a hammer with an excavator is the typical combination in the local market. Competition in the hammer market is rife and any margin of success comes at a price of hard work for suppliers, both from a quality and cost cutting point of view. With a 20% potential saving, Indeco is positioned to challenge for a bigger share of this market.
